নাঈমা পারভীনের উচ্চশিক্ষার পরামর্শ আকাশই তোমার সীমানা বিদেশে উচ্চশিক্ষা: ভাষা দক্ষতা পরীক্ষার প্রস্তুতি ভাষার দক্ষতার ক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ করে ইংরেজি ভাষার দক্ষতা যাচাই বিদেশে উচ্চশিক্ষার যোগ্যতা প্রমাণের অন্যতম ধাপ। অধিকাংশ উন্নত বিশ্বের দেশগুলোতে পড়াশোনার জন্য প্রয়োজন হয় ইংরেজি ভাষার। ইউরোপের স্বনামধন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের জন্য অন্য ভাষাতে দক্ষ হওয়ারও প্রয়োজন হয়। এগুলোর মধ্যে প্রধান ভাষাগুলো হলো জার্মান, ফরাসি ও স্প্যানিশ। এছাড়াও ম্যান্ডারিন চায়নিজ, আরবি ও জাপানিজ ভাষাতে দক্ষ হওয়ার প্রয়োজন হয় যদি এসব ভাষাভাষী দেশগুলোতে যাওয়া কথা ওঠে। ইংরেজি ভাষার প্রশংসাপত্রগুলোর ক্ষেত্রে বেশির ভাগ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলো একাডেমিক আইইএলটিএস (ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইংলিশ ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ টেস্টিং সিস্টেম), টোয়েফল (টেস্ট অব ইংলিশ অ্যাজ এ ফরেন ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ) গ্রহণ করে থাকে। যথাযথ প্রস্তুতি নিয়ে পরীক্ষা দিয়ে ভাষার দক্ষতার সার্টিফিকেট নেওয়ার জন্য ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিল, আইডিপি (ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ডেভেলপমেন্ট প্রোগ্রাম), ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আধুনিক ভাষা ইনস্টিটিউট সেরা মাধ্যম। ভাষাগত প্রস্তুতির গুরুত্ব ●     ...

  National Parliamentary Election 2026 - The Aspirations of Youth The National Parliamentary Election in Bangladesh was held on 12th February 2026. With great enthusiasm and excitement, Bangladeshi voters exercised their franchise to elect the government of a new Bangladesh. In this electoral festival, Shobdo Mukur presents a special report: 'The Aspirations of Youth'. We asked twelve young people what their expectations are of the newly elected government of the future.   আঠারো আনা বাঙালিয়ানা  বিশ্বব্যাপী বাঙালিয়ানা চর্চার ই-পত্রিকা সম্পাদকীয় - নাঈমা পারভীন জীবন যাপনের প্রতি মাসের পত্রিকা শব্দ মুকুরের ভাদ্র সংখ‍্যা থেকে নতুন একটি কলাম শুরু হয়েছে, ‘প্রবাসে বাঙালিয়ানা’ শিরোনামে। যেখানে প্রবাসে অবস্থানরত বাংলাদেশিরা তাঁরা কিভাবে তাঁদের প্রবাসী জীবনে বাংলা এবং বাংলাদেশকে ধারণ করছেন সে ব্যাপারে লিখছেন। তাঁদের এই লেখা পড়ে একজন সম্পাদক হিসেবে আমার মনে হলো এই বিষয়টি আরও গভীরভাবে ও বিস্তারিত তুলে ধরা প্রয়োজন। আর সেখান থেকেই ‘আঠারো আনা বাঙালিয়ানা’ ম‍্যাগাজিনের ভাবনার শুরু।  ভাগ‍্যান্বষনেই হোক বা নিজের পছন্দের কারণেই হোক যারা নিজের প্রাণের দেশ বাংলাদেশকে ছেড়ে এসে অন‍্যান‍্য দেশে গিয়ে নিজেদের পরিচয়কে ধরে রেখে নিজের সংস্কৃতিকে লালন করে যাচ্ছেন নিজেদের জীবনযাপন, শিল্প ও সাহিত্য চর্চার মাধ্যমে তাঁরা আসলেই যোদ্ধা । ভিন দেশে থেকে, সম্পূর্ণ একটি ভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশে অবস্থান করে, প্রবাস জীবনের নানা টানাপোড়নের মধ্যে থেকেও নিজের দেশের সাংস্কৃতিক অস্তিত্ব কে সমুন্নত রাখা এত সহজ না। এই বিষয়গুলো আরও কঠিন ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হয়ে পড়ে যখন ভিন দেশে ভিন্ন ভাষাভাষীদ...
